I agree, that we should aim to get at the root of the problem and heal it, rather then masking it. When we cover the pain but not the problem, it shows up somewhere else. I've tried so many alternatives - acupuncture, homeopathic medicine, etc, and found they help manage the pain and help me to feel better overall. I haven't tried botox (although it was suggested by a previous doctor). I have heard that it helps some people get temporary relief, so i may consider it at this point. As time goes on, I become more open to different treatment that I never would have considered in the first year or two after my headache started.

Not too sure about this plastic surgery curing headaches - interestingly when I went to see 'the top neurologist in the UK' (wasn't impressed with him at all) during the 4th month of constant headache, he suggested botox injections which I politely declined as he explained, as it does in the video, that studies had shown that women who had had plastic surgery found that post surgery they no longer suffered from headaches.

I am dubious! Plus, I am firmly of the belief that one must get to the root of the problem, as opposed to temporarily concealing it as western medicine tends to do.
